The Road To Awakening

For as long as I can remember I knew that I was different.  I knew I had the ability to feel things others couldn’t and in much deeper ways than most.  I saw things differently and my surroundings never made sense to me.  I never understood the pain of the world but I certainly grew up feeling it.  My upbringing was dark and for most of my life I felt misunderstood.  I worked hard to fit in, I worked hard to be accepted by the world.  What I didn’t realize was the harder I worked to fit in and impress everyone else, the more I lost myself along the way.

My teens were not easy, neither were my twenties.  I grew up in an abusive household and struggled with severe depression, never really knowing how to cope.  I was in abusive relationships, experienced infidelity more than once and sexual harassment in the workplace.  I lived a fast life, one with great responsibility at too early of an age.  I lived for my family, my friends but unknowingly never for myself.  I was met with many painful lessons and challenges along the way, often times contemplating what I was doing on this planet, I even attempted suicide in 2014.

In 2017, at the age of 30.  I found myself in what most would perceive the height of my life.  I was married, with a beautiful daughter, was a successful CEO, making crazy amounts of money, spending like crazy and living like a millionaire.  To the outsider everything appeared to be perfect, but on the inside, I was dying, I was lost, unhappy and afraid.  I didn’t know where to turn, I didn’t have anyone to talk to, I didn’t have the tools.  It was then I decided to divorce my husband and unknowingly this resulted in a series of what I then, perceived to be catastrophic events, but now consider my life’s greatest blessings.

My entire life as I knew it blew up. I quickly shifted into the victim mindset and blamed everything on the outside. Little did I know was my awakening.  

​

​I lost my job, was tangled in a nasty divorce, gave up all my money and possession’s, including my home and was faced with a million-dollar lawsuit.  I was so scared, with no way out in sight.  One day, my body couldn’t handle all the stress anymore and I found myself bed ridden, experiencing seizures, fainting, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, extreme sensitivities, severe depression, increased HR, brain fog, chronic fatigue, pain and inflammation. This went on for 2+ years with no hope. At one point I was diagnosed with an auto immune condition, was sent home with 20 prescriptions, no cure in sight and for some time I accepted that. I even ended up in wheelchair and yet again was ready to kill myself.  I felt like a burden, I felt useless and I felt stuck.  I was depressed, I was in so much pain and I was hurting deeply.

A lot has changed since then, now writing this in the present moment of 2021, most people who meet me would never guess this was my story.   I’ve manifested an incredible life partner who loves me unconditionally and together we have created a beautiful and abundant life for ourselves and my daughter. We are blessed beyond belief.  I haven’t fainted in over a year or had a single seizure since 2019 and all of my symptoms are now being managed holistically.  I haven’t taken a single prescription pill since 2019!

I find myself living what I now like to call my best life!  I get to travel the world; I get to be of service and be present. I live for purpose and inspiration, dedication to service, in gratitude and in abundance, in the best place I’ve ever been.  Spiritually, mentally and physically.  I found the tools to heal myself, I gave myself permission, I nurtured myself along the way, I treated myself with kindness and respect.  I recognized my worth and I awakened to my abilities to heal, channel, activate and move energy.

I remembered where I came from and what I am here to do on this planet.

​

Which is to help inspire you to find yourself, remember yourself, your true potential, your true value, your worth and to help you heal yourself, so that you may step into your truest expression and destiny because you too are worth it!  I know it can be scary and I know how hard it can be sometimes but you don’t need to do it alone.
